      The uniforms are comfortable, depending on post, the hours and money is good. All you provide is Boots.

      Cons

      Some posts actually get upset with officers for showing up before, even though the officer may live up to an hour from that post placing upon the officer an incredible burden to travel & fight traffic to be at post at a decent time.

      Usually plenty of overtime if you want it. They have contracts with the city to work.

      Cons

      People often leave and the rest of the workers are left to cover shifts leaving constant call ins.
