Pros
The compensation starts out on the high end. Very relaxed environment. In the summer the option to work half days on friday is available if you have your 40+ hrs in already.
Cons
Pay raises are minimal with an explanation of "You started out at a high rate so you should just be happy with 2-3%". Fluxuations in workload make for several long weeks where deadlines have to be met and then weeks where there is very little to do. Very few promotions are given, people from outside the company are hired into position openings rather than promoting from within.
