Pros
I learned so much working there and. Im sorry I have to go. If you guys ever get an office in London, give me a call! Seattle software developers is a one of a kind firm. They have high end clients, and a lot of tech guys stroll through the doors on occasion including Bezos and Microsoft royalty. The work environment is pretty cool they go after enterprise level clients and a lot of people coming in with epic ideas. My job is to make sure the clients are kept happy and I was tasked with keeping them informed weekly which is a big thing around here. The pay is base plus commission, which is really unusual in the software industry and everyone here makes great cash. The ownership is continually seeking out the best talent in the industry so it’s kind of a hodgepodge of people working here, but everyone is at the top of their game, and while it seems like there are misfits the apps we are turning out in the software we are building for large corporate clients is so cutting edge. A lot of these tech guys are coming over to the office just to watch. The boss is really cool takes everyone to lunch almost every day, and once a month we have Mexi Fridays! I have to admit sometimes Mexi Fridays get out of hand!
Cons
The only drawback is what everybody else says the parking sucks and if we’re working on a deadline it’s not unusual to have to stay till nine or 10 PM. However, there’s always pizza in the office and the box kicks down for wine the really good stuff but if we’re behind the eight ball, it’s all hands on deck.
