Pros

the ONLY pro is that it's remote & you're able to leave early on fridays if you are an SDR.

Cons

this company is so bad, i wanted to give them a zero, but that's not possible.. so I give them a 1. - Extremely high turnover rate, the highest I’ve ever seen. They hire 10-15 people a week & the majority of them either quit or get fired within the first 3 months - They will fire 10+ people at a time without ANY warning to anyone & lie to the rest of the company & say it was because you didn’t put in the activity & that’s why they fired so many people - Extremely low base pay - They expect you to call 700-800 people a day if you aren’t booking any meetings, which causes so much burnout. - Working for the company, in my opinion, is kind of embarrassing. I’ve had multiple people from outside of Seamless tell me how obnoxious our CEO is & how they think calling 500+ people a day is ridiculous & draining. - You are on Zoom all day, but God forbid you’re in a Zoom room with friends you are comfortable pitching off mute with. They want you in a Zoom room with the TOP SDRs so you can become a “better SDR” yourself, even though they’re all on mute & cameras off. So really, it does absolutely nothing for you to get better. - The company is ALL about hustle culture - They expect you to obsessed with Seamless - They don’t care about you at all. Someone in your family could have died & they’ll just be like “Aw, I’m sorry……. Keep those numbers up though” - During Black History Month, the CEO said during a meeting that one of the workers at Seamless used to feel whipped & chained onto a chair at his last job??? Don’t know why anyone would say those specific words, ESPECIALLY during BHM & ESPECIALLY the CEO. It is so embarrassing.

Pros

- can be a fun work environment with good peers that are other sdrs - learned how to talk on phone

Cons

- stresssful work environment - fires all of their sdrs or lays them off - terrible higher management above the SDR managers - terrible data and expects sdrs to figure it out - gives no help above upper management - ceo and upper management post “don’t lay off employees that don’t produce, the churn and burn doesn’t work” yet THEY CHURN AND BURN. They don’t even know what’s going on in their own company. - constant stress about getting fired the next month - a lot of threats about getting fired
