      - Good experience for pre-meds. - Opportunity to work closely with doctors and get letters of recommendation.

      Cons

      - Pay - Long shifts (depending on where you work) - Lack of benefits - Since there is a constant supply of pre-meds that are desperate for experience in healthcare, you really have little power to negotiate pay/benefits.
