You receive hands on training with skilled medical professionals. You have the oppurtunity to network and make important networking contacts in the medical field.
Cons
Shift run between 8-16 hours depending upon the needs of the company employing Scribe America. Poor pay. Your schedule is subject to the whim of your Chief Scribe, if they are good, there are no issues. If they aren't however, you will work full time hours without overtime, experience 4 hour turnarounds between shifts, and minimal free time outside of the work place. Communication between Management and employees is poor at best, most likely you will only ever see you Chief Scribe, and any complaints you have must be forwarded throught them (Yes, even if they are the reason for your complaint.) Upper Level Management will listen to the assurances of the Chief Scribe regardless of how many complaints they receive from the scribes under them.
