Pros

Clinical exposure, challenges your previous opinions of healthcare (could be a con)

Cons

You can find clinical exposure without working this terrible job. They company is utterly unorganized, misses hours/pay on multiple paystubs, no breaks, minimum wage, work with other incompetent scribes, some doctors are utter jerks, did I mention it is minimum wage? Please find another pre-med job, there are so many options. Most of scribeamerica's contracts with hospitals allow them to pay us up to $25/hour, but the capitalistic blood sucking company decides to pay the scribes minimum wage. Don't put money in someone else's pocket. Fun side story: I was expected to UBER-XL (and pay for it myself) to work during a huge snow storm and got written up for not being at work.

Pros

Good clinical experience for those who are taking a gap year or preparing for medical school.

Cons

The onboarding and training process is going to take about 2 to 3 months for some locations.

Pros

I believe there's flexibility in some hours. Paid training.

Cons

My onboarding process has taken over 2 months and I've only clocked in for mandatory trainings with little to no communication from managers or hiring staff. $10 an hour.
