Pros
Awesome experience for those trying to get into the medical field. I certainly feel I have an advantage above applicants to medical school thanks to the experience I've gained.
Cons
The pay however is not good at all. I tried having this job pay for my rent and it just isn't enough for the long hours we are there. And moving up in status doesn't give much of an increase in pay either.
