Pros
Good exposure to the medical field, get to experience a physician's decision making.
Cons
Experience will vary depending on the site you are placed at. Poor compensation for amount of work performed. (scribeamerica gets paid $22/hr for scribe services while paying its employees 8 to start and then 10 with minimal raises/opportunities for advancement). No time off, PTO, or benefits. Sure it might exist for full timers, but the vast majority of employees are part time only, and this is definitely intentional on the company's part. The initial classroom training is a waste of time. This really serves no purpose. Your experience in floor training will vary. You may have multiple trainers who each expect something different of you. This can result in one person saying you do a good job while another says you are doing poorly.
