Pros

ScribeAmerica is great if you are looking for a part-time, temporary position to gain exposure to healthcare prior to med/PA school, but prepared to work hard for little pay!

Cons

- Upper management is extremely unprofessional, inexperienced, and only interested in creating drama. This trickles down to poorly trained chief scribes. - The amount of "office politics" and favoritism is absolutely disgusting and sickening. Those who are friends with management go further with the company despite lack of qualifications. - To get ahead at ScribeAmerica you need to be malicious and tell management whatever they want to hear. You also need to do whatever they say when they say to do it, even if it means degrading or disrespecting your employees. The lack of integrity of these upper 20 year olds is disheartening for our generation. - All management levels are remotely managed which leads to little guidance on all levels whether it's the VPs to the project leaders or project leaders down to chief scribes. There's less appreciation for your work when they don't see it. - Absolutely no one in the company cares at all about the wellbeing of the employees they do not know. - Upper Management doesn't follow their own policies, so why do we hold our scribes to the same policies?

We are so glad to hear you are having a great experience with us so far, and we are very excited to help you prepare for whatever your future career goals are. As a reminder, we do offer a referral bonus for anybody you refer to work with ScribeAmerica, so please talk with your manager to get all the details on that. We also do like to promote from within and a large portion of our higher level management/corporate roles/etc all started out as scribes themselves. If you ever have an interest in learning more about other roles that would be available to you, or ways to prepare to apply to those types of roles, please feel free to reach out to tasupport@scribeamerica.com and we would be happy to talk with you further.
