Pros
Flexibile, kind manager (who only speaks highly of the company, so don't take it out on him--all animosity is my own doing), decent pay, travel expense.
Cons
They make you rearrange rat poison and other poison products for an 8 hour shift. Their odor pervades the aisle where the workers must work. In my case, it is caused burning in my nostrils and throat which has lasted days after stocking the shelves in addition to COPD-like asthma problems, disturbing sleep. Left my own devices I would never be so stupid as to expose myself to noxious chemical odors like this without protection but this stupid corporation made me do it, and now I've got an irritated throat and nose that will probably take a couple days if not weeks to recover. I would have purchased my own respirator but I had run out of money due to being unemployed for so long thanks to them taking almost a month to hire me. I have borrowed some money from a family member so I could purchase one. I'm going to get a P100 respirator which will filter out all the particles in the air, but I feel as though I want a full-fledged gas mask to protect my eyes and entire face from it as well, though that wouldn't be in vogue in a goodly retail environment. The problem with these corporations is they are run by people who never have to do jobs like this and get their jobs through their connections. They ignorantly subject people to bad conditions and never have to feel what it's like. Even if they had to inhale pesticide odor, many of them are too cold-hearted and ignorant to protect people who dislike it.
