Very short-lived, and forgettable. - Physical Therapy Aide/Medical Assistant Scott Medical Center Employee Review

Pros

The vibe throughout the office in general was okay, however some of the girls on the administrative end were a bit trifling with a ghetto mentality. Aside from that, I wasn't employed there for long enough to observe or experience any other pros.

Cons

Was brought on to be a PT Aide -- even though I had absolutely no prior experience in that arena -- but also did some clinical and admin medical assistant work. Personally felt like I had no structure, and the $7.25/hr salary didn't help either. So glad I left.

Pros

Taking care of patients.

Cons

They are scientologists at this place and infiltrates into everything. The “CEO” is the worst man ever. He’s so rude and mean and talks down to employees. He shouts and yells and screams and swears at them. He is so inappropriate. Every week they have staff wide meetings of how they can push more patient turn over and get their money. He calls it “the sizzle.” It doesn’t matter what tour job title, you will always feel like a sales person and feel a little dirty for it. They don’t care about patients. It’s quantity over quality. The physicians are either super old or have checkered pasts. You will never get breaks. You are constantly on your feet. The people can be cliquey and rude. The chiropractors think they are physicians and think they can dictate treatment of patients. This place pushes unwanted treatments on patients for money. DME was constantly pushed so they could reap money.
