Love my Job - Assistant Account Manager Score Marketing Employee Review

Pros

I've been with Score for almost five months. There is always music playing in the office, people training and helping one another, and management truly has an open door policy. I came in with no sales or marketing experience, and was worried about being able to handle this job. My first day I was given a training guide, which my leader went over with me. The guide was easy to follow and was a solid foundation for me to stand on. Every morning in atmosphere a leader or fellow team member would work with me. This job has given me the opportunity to learn from a diverse group of people. Each person no matter their age or how long they have been in the business was able to offer valuable knowledge to help me succeed. If you want to be apart of a team, and the opportunity for continuous learning this is the place to work.

Cons

The work I do is always evolving and so if I do not stay on top of it, I will become very far behind and it is a pain to catch up!

Cons

This is not your typical company. This is an MLM scheme. It has all the characteristics of an MLM with the only exception is you do not have to recruit because they market as a legit company in order to bring people in. However you do not get promoted by the people on your team you get promoted by the amount of sales you can make but the moment you fall short you are immediately demoted. You are highly encouraged to partake in the service or product that they are marketing at the time. They don't want you to take no for an answer no matter how often they say no. Team meetings in the morning that showcase how other teams are selling and who had new hires. They market themselves as direct sales, but they tell you that hey you're getting good on the ground floor. If you are to look up the CEO of the company you do not see that they are CEO of score marketing but of a completely different company. At the time I was hired score marketing did not have a parent company as far as what I researched. Avoid this CEO. Avoid other companies that fall into this plan. If they are not a direct sales company and you are not a salesperson avoid them at all costs. Don't get scammed. Don't get bs'ed. Don't waste your time. Also this company is now closed and I do believe they are marketing under a different name.
