Pros

Small enough company that there is room to expand and grow

Cons

They’re currently at the late stage of a Private Equity company where all the negative stereotypes of working there are unfortunately true. They’re desperate to squeeze as much cash as possible out of the brand and sell it, so it’s super high pressure, super low resources, extremely intense environment and leadership that is likely to sacrifice you on the altar of their future payout.

Pros

Science Interactive is genuinely mission-driven, and that comes through in the day-to-day work. The teams collaborate well, leadership is accessible, and there’s a strong sense that what we are building actually helps colleges open more doors for students. The company is small enough that your work matters, but established enough to provide stability and resources. There’s also a lot of autonomy if you’re someone who takes initiative, and new ideas are welcomed instead of pushed aside.

Cons

It’s a fast-moving environment, so priorities can shift quickly depending on what departments or partner schools need. Sometimes cross-team communication lags behind the pace of the work. Not deal-breakers, just part of working in a growing organization that handles a lot of custom solutions.

Pros

They seem friendly, but it is fake.

Cons

Will ghost you after interviews without even an email to let you know they filled the position.
