      Accommodating to breastfeeding/pumping mothers, paid holidays

      Cons

      The lack of communication is horrid. Management changes policies without notifying staff, and the PTO is a joke. I have seen the way the owner treats parents firsthand and it is abysmal and EXTREMELY unprofessional. The number of outbursts from the owner is scary! I have also seen individuals get fired for wrongful termination. The scheduling is inconsistent and there is a lack of communication on all counts. The work place is full of drama (that includes leaders talking about staff members with other staff members) and is overall extremely stressful and toxic. The benefits that made this job appealing were stripped away due to the company being in a financial struggle.

      - Collaborative work environment - Attempts to create a strong sense of community across settings & locations - Flexibility with scheduling & accommodations (within reason)

      Cons

      - Clear favoritism/nepotism - Inconsistent expectations & implementation of corrective feedback based on what BCBA you are currently working with - A very drastic & often unwarranted way of handling employee concerns (disciplining employees prior to understanding the entire situation) - Lack of communication regarding last minute scheduling changes/updated client specific key information - Lack of support for novel therapists working with new clients or in new environments - Concerns often not being addressed/taken seriously or given 1:1 meetings to address the concerns but never given enough time to fully discuss the matter(s)
