      Pros

      Very good training program. Written commitment to excellence and fairness to employees

      Cons

      Written words don't always play out. Bulk has big problems and the "bean counters" have no idea what effect they have on drivers or operations. As with many modern businesses, people just don't figure in.

      Pros

      Dedicated local account, driver leaders are nice, equipment is decent.

      Cons

      $12/hr on duty, not driving pay. That’s ridiculous and includes everything except driving. Work can be inconsistent at times, hours can be long, no holiday or mileage bonus pay for a long time after hire, benefits are expensive. Schneider won’t allow drivers to use Bluetooth or any other hands-free device, INCLUDING HEARING AIDS, to receive calls while driving. This makes having a life outside of work and scheduling appointments almost impossible.
