The staff know how to sell the Schlam dream; however, it is only that - a dream. My experience at this company could have been more enjoyable. The perks of working for this company can only hide the toxic and unhealthy environment for so long. Management is prone to making decisions that will benefit them personally rather than help grow and evolve the business. Job performance, motivation and experience mean nothing if you are not part of the purple circle. Most decisions go against fairness and equality, not to mention their values and unique ideology. I sincerely felt I had a lot of potential at Schlam, so I pushed through the exclusion, sexual advances and name-calling because I saw a future for myself. The workforce is young, immature and cliquey, with very little understanding of acting appropriately in a professional environment. Pray to God that you are not a woman with confidence, an opinion or business etiquette. Keep your head down and mind your business; otherwise, you will not survive. I cannot support or encourage others to join a company that does not make safe, ethical and unbiased decisions.
