Pros
Schellman is one of the best places to work. Coming from the big4, it is a completely different environment and culture. There is almost no corporate nonsense that gets you stuck spending the most of your day doing admin work, answering emails, and attending pointless meetings. The work is meaningful and you are truly adding value to your clients (and they appreciate it). The projects are quick and you are constantly moving around and doing new things, working on different projects, and meeting and interacting with new clients. You are given a lot of responsibility and have the opportunities to get involved in different aspects within the company. Schellman hires the best - in order to do that, they pay above market, and offer benefits unlike I have heard of at other companies (as seen in other reviews). You are not just a number at Schellman, and have the ability to truly make an impact on the company. They are very transparent to their employees, they go over how the company is doing financially, and other aspects such as recruiting, technology, how you quarterly bonuses are calculated, etc. They don't give nonsense answers when something goes awry. They tell the truth, and keep their employees informed of management decisions and the thought process. Overall, if you want to work in a talented, fast-paced environment this is the place for you.
Cons
It is a very fast paced environment, with project deadlines almost every 2-3 weeks. It is not for everyone, so be aware of this prior to joining. Clients can sometimes delay, causing the work load to increase and be unpredictable at periods. This is really out of their control, so if you hate it that much then don't be in a client facing business.
