Pros
I've been working with Scansource for a little over a year now. Honestly I believe this is a great company. Scansource is a people company, they care about their employees as well as their customers. The management team works hard on contentious improvement throughout our DC. Most of the employees I have spoken too love it here. I started here part time in June 2016, only worked 4 hours a day. During that time I got to meet most everyone that worked here. I found that so many of the employees had been here 5,10 and even 20 years. Also we have a few employees ages 65 through about 72 . They could retire anytime they want but they told me they liked working here. The two factors that helped me make a decision to convert to fulltime were the amount of time employees have been with the company and the ages of some that keep working because they like it here. I think it says a lot of good about a company that's able to retain employees as long as they have.
Cons
The only con for myself personally is having to work 2nd shift and I am missing a lot of family time with my wife and children. Although I do understand it is because it is part of the business model be that we are same day shipper's.
