Pros

High salary (that's often delayed) with health benefits (that's deducted from your salary). Good career opportunities to those who are great in office politics.

Cons

I would advise anyone who is considering applying at ScaleNorth to think again. My experience has been tough, filled with tension, where I often felt on edge. One of the main issues is job security. There's a high turnover rate, with some long-term employees leaving. From an employee's perspective, the reasons for terminations might seem trivial—ranging from bringing your spouse to a company event to your manager not liking you. This, in turn, creates a stressful work environment (look up "quiet firing"). In my experience, teamwork was nearly non-existent, and office politics were too prevalent. It felt like who you knew was more important than what you were capable of doing. Since many of the hires are through referrals, it may be tough to integrate if you're not already connected. While the salary was competitive, it came at a cost to my work-life balance and well-being. Salary delays were also a recurring issue during my time there, adding to the stress. The fear of sudden termination or feeling pressured to resign due to tough work conditions was a constant concern for me and many of my colleagues. While the high pay might be attractive, I'd encourage potential applicants to carefully weigh all factors. Consider whether the salary aligns with your priorities for career growth, stability, and personal well-being.

Pros

• You’ll get exposure to NetSuite across different industries, which can help build your skills • There are some smart, hardworking people trying to do good work despite the environment • Remote work setup offers flexibility

Cons

• Leadership lacks consulting or people management experience, which leads to poor decisions and a lack of direction • Mean Girls rule the roost, lots of favoritism, cliques, and gossip that go unchecked • The company resists using standard industry tools and best practices, resulting in over-billing, re-work, and projects going off the rails • Honest feedback isn’t really welcomed and can come back to bite you - even when "hibest feedback" is solicited by leadership • High turnover and a general lack of psychological safety make it hard to feel secure or supported
