Positive, strong, team-oriented culture. Rare in the venture industry making it a very pleasant environment to work in. Leadership has a clear understanding of what the firms goals are and actively involves the organization in setting those and benchmarking progress. Strong performance in the portfolio, well received by Limited Partners, and a good brand in the entrepreneurial community. Majority of the partnership has very long tenure demonstrating the lack of politics and career progression opportunities. Two of the general partners started as associates and other associates have transitioned to top MBA programs or other venture firms.

Small organization so for anyone seeking large company environment they will be a fish out of water. Also means that everyone is on the same page and so you either hop on that boat or don't. Humble firm with a hard working culture. Firm is not ostentatious in spending so no wild parties or other expensive benefits more commonly seen in venture (maybe not a con, but a defining principle in the culture).
