Pros

Cool office, kind of. You'll get hands-on experience with high-level clients. It's definitely a place where a Type A kind of person would thrive. I really loved the team when I first started but then saw a ton of turnover happen quicker than expected within the first few months. If you love AI, then you'll do well here.

Cons

Expectations are high in a way that feels punishing most times. Leadership, especially those focused on being "creative" lack real vision and squander those who have original thoughts and voice. Once you burn out, they will blame it on you and your lack of skill rather than truly helping you succeed. There is no real life work/life balance. They expect you to live and breathe Saxum. Most of leadership will say they are trying to uphold a great work culture, yet, I experienced anything but this. It mostly felt like a shiny wrapped package of poo, bringing about displeasure with every whiff. And lastly, if you dare to admit that you have any weakness, they will quietly push you out (aka: Quit-Fire), so that you feel it is your fault for not being, as they put it, "Excellent".

Pros

Saxum has some great people. A few of the clients are really rewarding to work on.

Cons

There’s essentially all-new leadership at this company, with the latest a new CEO from another firm with a not-so-great work/life balance. The company is imploding, for lack of a better term. Long-term, loyal employees (some with 15+ years) are leaving to pursue other opportunities, which is a huge signal for current employees to leave. Unlimited PTO was stripped back, and a return-to-office policy was mandated 5 days a week for employees in the Oklahoma City area while remote employees can stay remote. It will be interesting to see what comes of this place in the next 6 months or so.
