Pros
This company is one of the best out there! Anyone that is derogatory about safety here probably was let go for not being able to adapt to the very strong safety culture here. Advancement opportunities are wide open here. They give good employees every opportunity to advance, but the employee has to take the opportunity. I have never seen a company that believes and practices fairness and integrity as much as this one. Unfortunately some do not understand that fairness applies to all, the company, the customer, and the employee...not just their own agenda. One of the most financially responsible companies that I have ever seen. Very generous with profit sharing. I have had the maximum deposited into my 401K (3% of my gross pay) every year for the 13 that I have had the honor of working here. The company matches 1/2 of what I put into 401K up to 8% of my monthly income.
Cons
Expectations are very high for each employee to 'do their job'. For those that just want a paycheck, this company is probably not for you! We are going through growing pains. However, the growth just is creating more opportunities for the employees.
