It promotes a current employee to higher position particularly managerial position without managerial experience and just because of nepotism. The company does not promote desrving employees to higher positon based on merits and excellent performance but based on personal connections with the higher management. Salary increases are not given to deserving employees based on excellent performance but given based on personal connections in the company.
