bad management - Administrative SatCon Technology Employee Review

This wonderful company was ten years too late in my opinion. What I mean by that was that SatCon was so much like a "dot-com" in its culture, thinking, vision, and use of technology. This company was a joy to work for. The sense of community and camaraderie between the staff, management, and clients was so much like a circa 1998 - 2000 dot-com. Think of all the awesome, fun, hard-working, creativity, casual environment, fostering workplace for ideas, amazing collaborative enterprises, that dot-coms were before the bubble burst and the rampage of slash and burn conservatives companies that foisted the jobs of three people on those that 'weren't let go'. But SatCon was ten years too late and the current work world is just too conservative for such a progressive organization. SatCon's vision about helping to build the 'sustainability' industry was both ahead of its time and long overdue. Solar, wind, and bio-fuels are the energy sources of the future and SatCon would have been a great organization to help pioneer those industries. I am sad to have seen it go under and bought up by a foreign conglomerate that is only keeping it going in name only. And don't listen to any of those reports about litigation against SatCon. This company was excellent, and very good to me. This was a great American company and should still be here in America!

The only con that I can think of is that SatCon is no longer in business!
