Pros

Being able to meet, become familiar with, and establishing good relationships with local clients were the main reasons I loved working here. Also, having been able to work with some of the most hardworking, albeit underpaid, employees I've ever encountered.

Cons

I worked here for nearly 3 years and only once was I recognized for my work ethic, compassion, and dedication. Upper management has no respect and regard for the REAL workers. They expect a plastic plaque, no raise for 2 years, and 50+ hours work weeks to be the 'ideal' work experience. The 5 star reviews are obviously false and submitted by them.

Pros

NONE! I wouldn't work for this company for a million dollars a year.

Cons

EVERYTHING! The owners micro manage everything, the buyers SUCK at picking product and then blame the store team for not being able to sell the crap. Its hard to sell crappy product which is why sales associates couldn't make sales. I consider myself a pretty good salesperson but after a while I gave up because I shouldn't have to lie when a customer asks me "is this product really good" The real issue was with the corporate team and the owners. They do not know how to run a business. Granted, it was retail and no one wants to work retail long term, but they did nothing to make the experience better. They threatened those they felt didn't do good enough, they never tried to set anyone up for success, they just hired people and if they weren't amazing after a month they looked for ways to fire you. They stressed out everyone in the store, which also made it hard for anyone to do their job, they don't pay people on time, they don't pay people what they're owed, and they are extremely racist. There were many times in which I was told to keep an eye on someone based on how they looked(mostly minorities). Anyone who has worked in retail for at least a year knows that you identify shoplifters based on suspicious behavior, not suspicious looks.
