Pros

Food truck Fridays and nice co-workers.

Cons

There is not enough room here to list all of the downsides to working here. The management team members are unpleasant to work with and continuously show that they do not care about their employees. The favoritism is shown proudly leaving the rest of the team members feeling ostracized and depressed, causing very low morale across the entire company. Turnover is off the charts with one department at about 90% in the last couple of years.

We are always sad to hear that past employees or current employees have not enjoyed the culture at Sarnova. While it is always disappointing to hear of folks that have a negative experience, the vast majority of our team is exceptionally pleased with the environment and culture at Sarnova. Specifically, our employee engagement results highlight that over 80% of our team members are proud to tell others that they work at Sarnova. That statistic alone is something to be proud of, but more importantly, it reflects a healthy, robust culture that places Sarnova in the top quarter of companies nationally. Unfortunately, this review cites incorrect data related to turnover and protected classes. Company turnover is sub 20% and our HR leadership team and Company Leadership team foster an inclusive environment with regard to protected classes. It is exceptionally important to hear our employees feedback both good and bad. However, when incorrect data is published it is important to correct those statements. Career advancement opportunities can vary by team and location, requiring employees to be proactive in seeking development and new challenges.

Pros

Good Retirement Match, Great Co-workers, Great customers in a rewarding market. Great opportunity to experience the dark side of corporate sales, so that you can fully appreciate the great job in your future. The bond and networking among former employees is second to none. Former employees are helping each other daily and it is amazing to experience.

Cons

A very rapid shift from a rewarding customer focused approach, to what has become purely a corporate profit driven model. Account Manager are pushed to sell without regard for ethics or morals. The quest to make more money is all consuming across the management group. Their private label "Curaplex" brand has several substandard product offerings wrought with quality issues. Although many Account Managers have reported issues with this product line, the Leadership continues to downplay, mask, and outright cover the problems. This private label brand carries the highest profit margins across the entire product offering, so it's pretty easy to see their motivation to push these products, regardless of quality. They actually pay the Sales Staff extra commission to sell it, a tool to further discourage the reporting of issues and concerns. The turnover remains high, even with solid pay. Numerous employees continue to search for a way out, only bound to them by a very challenging job market.
