Pros
*Great work flexibility. *An overall trend of improvement and growth in the company. *Lots of different projects. Projects vary greatly, which is good for warding off boredom. *Good exposure to the business side or work for engineers. *Great opportunities for career advancement for young people. But, it's a double edge sword. Promotion can be bestowed whether you are ready for it or not. You'll have to learn--sink or swim style. *The CEO is a great guy--personable and genuinely invested in the well being of his employees. He does however, have a habit of setting unrealistic targets. But perhaps that is what CEOs need to do to drive their companies forward. *Great people at Saratech. People are nice and close knit. *Management takes into consideration the concerns and grievances of their employees and work to improve things. It's not just lip service. Implementation can seem slow, but it eventually happens.
Cons
*Organization is top heavy. There is too much management for the number of workers available. *The organization lacks good internal processes. The result is people spending more energy than is necessary to get routine tasks accomplished. *A strong emphasis on cost savings, sometimes at the expense productivity.
