Pros
I worked for Santa Rosa Sheriff's Office for over 20yrs.There is a good bunch of people working there. Most are hard working and fair in their police actions. Good benefits and equipement is getting better.
Cons
Not much chance for moving from patrol to other areas of the agency unless you are buddies with higher up's, Pay is low, most often shifts are short of people.
