Pros
Sandbox is a fantastic place to work with a true sense of community among the staff. Leadership are welcoming, inclusive and quirky but most importantly set the example themselves of work/life balance. Working from home is an option. There is strong mentorship for junior developers and other entry level positions. Sandbox also has a strong focus on the public sector, so we work you do is meaningful and benefits communities and those who need it - it's not about making rich people wealthier. Being able to say you helped build an app for World Vision or launch a new hospital website is pretty cool and looks good on the resume too!
Cons
If you're not a Star Wars fan you might struggle ;-)
