Pros
As with all food production maintenance work, it depends on the lads you are with and site you are at. I have no complaints with my site, the workload is not excessive, but enough to keep you busy. 4/4 shift patterns work for me, may not work for others.
Cons
Honestly for me I have no issue with my job. The site is ok, pay is good and work level is a good balance. It's a smaller site so opportunities to move up the engineering ladder are small if you wish to do that, once you reach multi-skilled level.
