Level 1 to 2 leadership at best. Broken management and culture of fear, isolation yield mediocre results for clients. - Project Manager Samuel Engineering Employee Review

Pros

100% of health insurance is paid. High deductible plans are less valuable than before. Newer office space. Christmas Party is nice.

Cons

Employees suffer from responsibility without authority. Project success seems to be measured by profit, not quality. Structures as a small set of geniuses with 100 helpers on whom everything depends. Resulting culture of doers, not thinkers. Fraudulent business practices of several employees amounting to:1: providing inside bid numbers to a bidder for a personal payoff from bidder to employee of $20,000. Bidder won job. 2: employee worked scheme to negotiated free craning of demolished structure from erection company and charged $30,000 for same service to client. SE leadership was aware of both situations and did not react.
