Pros

The 401k match here is really good. It's clear that they want you to stay at the company. The company politics mean there is always some drama going on to pass the time. They have a grill on-site and the food is delicious.

Cons

If you're not racist, republican, or religious, you will never make it at this company. There's maybe one or two black people in the entire main office. I've heard people in the second floor talking horribly about their Vietnam office employees. The people here love keeping things political. I have to listen to at least one political rant a week from folks in my meetings. If you even insinuate a leftist policy, you are immediately treated differently. These people will try to push their religion on you just to make you feel bad for having beliefs different than theirs. It's sickening to watch. I've seen an employee get chewed out by their manager for being atheist and run to the bathroom in tears. "Report it to HR they say", any time someone reports an issue to HR that doesn't align with the three Rs, they get fired. I've been pretending for years to be conservative, and it's gotten me much further than my coworkers who are smarter and better at their job than I am.

Pros

Good insurance. 5% 401k match. 7% of your gross goes in your 401k via profit share. Good amount of PTO. A lot of the people. Climate controlled. Clean environment.

Cons

Hourly pay too low to deal with their BS. Too much OT after promising none. Haven’t seen the plant manager in literally years. Production floor manager is full of it and plays favorites to the extreme. Unless you’re part of the clique, you’ll get nowhere. Instead of raises, we got board games for the break room. The restaurant in the building is gross and a joke. They preach that they’re “like a family”, but only because they want you working there for cheap. Should’ve never taken 12’s away just to mandate 10-20 hours of OT per week. No real recognition or appreciation ever.
