Pros
Peers and colleagues all work together through difficult times.
Cons
Awful place to work. Bad management, bad leadership, absent CEO. So many people are being paid off, and their payments are not declared in the charity’s end of year accounts. HR processes are not being followed, and people are bullied and harrassed by senior management until they are forced to leave. This is not my personal experience, I left to join another organisation, but I have watched so many of my friends and colleagues’ mental health become destroyed by this organisation that claims to be there to support people. I’d never recommend anyone work here, and I would definitely advise the public to give their money to a charity that is actually doing something to look after people’s mental health rather than adding to the epidemic. I have seen former colleagues self harm, self medicate and one even took their own life because of this organisation. Totally unacceptable.
