Pros
Good benefits, perks, awesome office, great snacks, monthly bonus opportunities.
Cons
Strict "call-block" hours of cold calling over 3+ hours a day, with management listening in on the system and critiquing, feels like a call center. Absolutely no room for growth, they will say there are lots of growth opportunities but ask how many BDRs have been promoted to a closing role in the past year....1. Senior BDR's have been in the seat for +/- 2 years and although they have hit their numbers, they are not even given the opportunity to apply for a closing role...all external hires. It is quite odd, but the senior BDRs that stay stagnant just seem ok and like the familiarity of it. If you are OK with being a BDR for many years, this is totally the job for you, because there are some good BDR perks! Otherwise, you will be very frustrated and leave (like myself) adding to the large amount of BDR turnover.
