Pros
flexible scheduling is just about the only pro to this job
Cons
no room for growth- i know a fellow Sally's employee who has been with the company for over 4 years and has never gotten a raise. they started me at a higher rate than people who have been with the company for years and that doesn't feel fair. upper management does not care about the health or wellbeing of employees, and encourages people to come to work sick if they are not able to find coverage because if you miss a shift without a doctor's note you get written up. chronically understaffed and turnover rate is incredibly high due to lack of benefits and fair wages.
