Pros

The store manager and assistant manager i worked for were great to work for. They were fun, fair, honest, hard working, and made sure we had a pleasant working experience. I got along with all my co-workers, which is hard to find in retail. Other stores i worked for had nice store managers as well. The employees in other stores were hit or miss. They give you a decent discount. The dress code is chill so you can pretty much wear whatever you want, dye your hair any color, and have piercings and tattoos. The job is easy, the stores aren't too big to manage, stores don't close that late, and closing doesn't take long at all. Flexible hours.

Cons

The pay isn't that great, considering the responsibilities you have . The customers can be absolutely horrible and sometimes they try to hold you responsible for their hair dye disasters. A lot of them have no class. People of course are shady with discounts, returns, and exchanges, and you are always on the lookout for thieves. I've never had to deal with corporate management personally so I wouldn't know too much about that. I was never full time so I wouldn't know much about benefits either.

Pros

Trying new products Assisting customers with product recommendations Commission on certain items

Cons

The daily revenue quota was at times very unrealistic and unattainable. A lot of pressure was put on our team to sell x/dollars per day but sometimes it just wasn't realistic (bad weather, lots of returns some days).
