- International atmosphere - Health Insurance paid by employer

Cons

- overtime not paid - too much stress for little pay - Work overload - No incentives/rewards, no salary increases - no growth, no chance to be promoted - Italian company, therefore Italian employees and a few others have special privileges - No development of employees - No proper performance appraisal, managers have no time to discuss with their employees for 20 minutes once a year about their performance the previous year - Employees not valued, only exploited until burned out (that is why thy provide health insurance benefit...) - When you ask for a work certificate they will take half a year

Business outlook

Pros

Great responsibility for offshore operations and quay-side mobilizations. Less technical role (no direct engineering performed), but more so, practical experience-driven when executing onsite.

Cons

Lots of reading and writing (Purchase Requests>Purchase Orders>Final contracts). Bureaucratic procurement (SAP and Word/Excel heavy) and poor interdepartmental follow-up: you have to do the follow-up when the assigned project inspector and expeditor (POSE) don't follow up on your PO. High workload.
