Pros

The engineers and technicians are generally ok, including the business leaders.

Cons

Expect extreme micromanagement with the boss coming up to your desk constantly with unrealistic expectations. - expect to work on the fly on 3rd day when orientation just ended on 2nd day of work - while doing handover to know the company internal SOP, constant interruption comes in. You are expected to learn at the desk with constant interruptions from the head - task A is emailed right after working hours and all staff who dont drive take company transport home. Next day 8am ask for updates. - after completing task A, immediately come to ask about task B. - expect at weekly meetings to receive a generous dose of self-flattery on one's capability, while dishing out condescending remarks on all team members. Basically stepping on others to gain feel good ego. Appaling department culture when N+2 keep overriding N+1, making everyone report to N+2 in reality. To those who are sincere to change the staff morale, this is not the team that you can make a change. Do note that the company policy is WFO 5 days a week, 40min lunch break, only 1 hawker centre within walking distance and it is unsheltered. Leave policy is after 5 years do you get additional 5 days (whereas many other companies do a progressive 1 day addition for every year worked). Total working hours is 48 hours (including lunch and breaks). Starting working hours is 7.40am. Accepted these terms and did not leave due to it.
