Pros

Okay pay in a bad market

Cons

They laid off a ton of employees after being acquired in an attempt to save money - like any company after a PE firm acquires them. In a post layoff environment, they work everyone to the bone to ensure profits are at an absolute maximum. VERY VERY poor benefits. Minimal days off and BAD insurance.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for your continued commitment to Safety Partners over the years. We understand that the transition following our acquisition by Trinity brought significant change, and we appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns directly. The past year has been challenging across the life sciences industry, with reduced funding and financial pressures affecting many of our clients. These broader market headwinds have required us to make thoughtful adjustments to ensure we remain stable and able to support both our clients and our team. As part of aligning with Trinity’s broader organizational structures, we did make changes to benefits and internal operations. We recognize that these changes can impact morale, and we do not take that lightly. We know that workload balance is essential and we continuously review schedules and client assignments to help prevent burnout and ensure our teams feel supported. While industry and economic pressures are real, our employees remain at the center of every decision we make. We value honest feedback, and we genuinely want to improve. Your perspective helps us identify where we need to evolve. We encourage you to reach out directly to your supervisor or any member of our management team so we can better understand your experience and work collaboratively toward solutions. Thank you again for raising these concerns and for the work you continue to do for Safety Partners.

Pros

Some independence, lots of variety, usually no enormous pressure to work outside of normal hours. Good resources to support training, Generally good support structure for EHS content; You will easily learn if you put forth effort. Most supervisors and clients are understanding, normal human beings.

Cons

Non-compete clause means that if you're serious about EHS you may be locked out of the industry for a year after this job. Not the most outlets for creativity Initially you are going to be saying 'I'll get back to you about that' alot. Very limited time with coworkers- more time with client's employees for likely two to eight days each month at most clients (also possibly a pro) Justifying every 15 minutes on a timesheet can be nerve racking. Work culture/ stress (1 supervisor; ocassionally 1 client) can be crazy.

Thank you for your feedback and for your time at Safety Partners. We appreciate the contributions you made during your tenure with us. We're pleased to hear that you experienced a positive work-life balance and enjoyed working alongside your colleagues. We take pride in the training and development opportunities we provide our consultants, so it's encouraging to know that you felt supported and had access to the resources needed to learn and grow in your role. Consulting is a unique profession and professional service. As you mention, it that requires developing skills such as managing multiple clients and working independently at client sites, along with business processes such as completing timesheets and employment terms that are standard practice for professional service firms. Our team leaders and management team are available to provide guidance in these areas, and we offer resources designed to support consultants as they build these skills. Because our consultants are often dispersed across various client locations, we also place a strong emphasis on employee recognition and creating opportunities for connection through company events and team gatherings. Thank you again for sharing your feedback and for your time with Safety Partners. We wish you continued success in your career.
