Pros

steady work, good pay if your a good salesman. overtime opportunity

Cons

very micromanaged. you are told more of the bad you do than the good. there is no leeway for being even 1 minute late or calling off for sick purposes. they care about sales so you automatically get an occurrence for very little things. it seems like everyday the supervisor who you never really speak with or know only talks to you when he has another occurrence for you to sign. everything is based on a computer system, from time in/out to requesting days off. the computer system is not very good and very imprisonable. If your used to having interaction with your boss and fellow employees this is not a job for you. the calls are non stop and everything is by a script. if you dont read the script verbatim you get written up. the whole pay commission is a joke and is designed to take money away from you and give it to the big dogs. they computer system is flawed and designed to benefit the company in not paying you commission. they want you to make enough sales to keep money flowing in but not too much to get any money for yourself... they are constantly hiring because the turn over rate is huge. more than half of the training class i was hired in with have already quit and im about to that point myself... lastly, when you first get hired they bate you in telling you they hand out gas cards all the time and they are constantly giving away free stuff to employees. they also said the majority of the staff is making commission. all of that was pretty much a lie. remember these people are salesman and know how to draw you in. i have never seen one gas card or anything else passed out to any employees, even the ones who are doing really well. less than half of the team im on makes commission so that was also a lie. if you enjoy being a salesman you may really like this job, but if not then most likely you will be quitting in a couple months if you can afford it.

Pros

Amazing, detailed training for the remote position. They make sure you are prepared to handle customers from day one on the floor. They work with you after training when you have family issues.

Cons

No cons at the moment except more pay

Pros

There is so much I love about Safelite. I love the other employees. I love the fact that I get good benefits as a part time employee. I love the products.

Cons

Between my experience with HireRight for my background check with this company and the constant problems with the VDI that everyone in my training class has had, my experience as a new employee has been one of the most confusing and stressful that I have ever dealt with. A company as well established as Safelite that offers the kind of quality service that Safelite offers (which I can attest to having been a customer previously before I worked here) is not compatible with these faulty systems.
