Pros

You don't work nights or Sundays

Cons

Don't let them kid you, shareholder value is the ONLY priority. The pay model was just changed without notice in favor the company paying you less over time. Nothing is certain in your day. You can get a text from your boss on your way to work letting you know that the shop does not have enough work for you that day and instructs you to stay home with no pay or choose to take PTO. Overtime not optional during Summer peak season, which can be good until you hit the winter slow season. Your hours tank, you work out of different locations wether you like it or not. You get added jobs wether you're overloaded or not. Talk to any Tech about what I've listed. The list goes on and on.

Pros

Tons of extra overtime pay, opportunity for your pay to change by 5 or 10 percent in either direction twice a year, completely free from corporate communication, bonuses will be held and never paid out so you dont have to worry about saving it yourself! Cheers to the belron "thank you" (more like a belron "screw you") they gave us years ago and I never saw a dime of before I left.

Cons

Surprise! Six day weeks. Maybe 7 we dont know. Whoops all loaned out to other shops, little to no warning or planning You dont matter to anyone in your chain of command They want you to feel like you can talk to them.. but not to actually do it. No follow up from management, everything is out of their hands and yadda yadda yadda
