Pros

The work is not hard. It is a very low-skill job and, to a degree, the managers can be understanding. Scheduling is pretty convenient, as long as you are firm and assertive in your demands. They will generally respect your availability. If you are a person who does not like to work outside of the hours you set for yourself, then be firm in your denial.

Cons

If you show them that you are willing to cover shifts in any capacity then they will badger you at every opportunity to do so. Going to a meeting for this company feels like being shot back into the 2000s. Regardless of your spiritual/religious alignment, you can expect to bow your head in prayer to bless the cold Domino's Pizza that they give to you. The company is highly disorganized. Don't expect any timely response to any of your needs. Upper-level staff will tell you of all the good things they hope to bring to you and your colleagues in the workplace but will fail to deliver on those promises time and time again. Things like a fan and barstools were promised to employees for months and were never delivered. However, the extra key hooks for valet stands came almost immediately after they were recommended by management during the quarterly company meeting. The president, Jonathan Lee is a casual racist and habitual liar. I have seen him call an Indian member of the company the "parking guru," which I suppose he found funny. He will tell you that God runs the company and everything that happens is under God's plan. This will then be followed by a "So we've had way more incidents than we need to be having, we need to get our act together." Do not expect to advance at this company unless it is completely on their terms. Jonathan himself asked me what I needed in order to remain an employee at Safeparc. I told him and my past manager, Codi Benedict, that I wanted a two-dollar raise (mind you, this is an extra sixteen dollars a day). This eventually led to my hours dwindling to zero. Failure to comply with their own company policy regarding things like giving out bonuses for employee referrals. DO NOT EXPECT A REFERRAL BONUS IF YOU GET SOMEBODY HIRED HERE.
