Pros

Met some lovely people and gained experience.

Cons

Where do I start? - Management were rude and unapproachable. When voicing your opinion, you were quickly shot down and put back into your place. There were times when they shouted at you to a point of tears. - Unethical. Signing clients up to life insurance policies due to high commission returns without the client’s consent and clients documents going missing. - The atmosphere was unpleasant and distressing when management were in the office. You would be called out for getting up from your desk, smiling, talking, walking too slowly, requesting holidays, making spelling mistakes, using the word 'fine'. - You were made to clean the office, including Raking the leaves outside, hoovering, cleaning windows, cleaning toilets and the kitchen, taking the bins out (There were mice next to the bins!) - There was nowhere to leave your belongings. They weren’t allowed next to your desk and had to be kept on the floor in the staff room where everybody eats and has access to (Someone’s purse got stolen) - The laptops given were 2nd hand and very old. You were given a second screen which was twice the height of your laptop screen with different brightness. There were continuous IT issues to the point where you would sit for hours and wait for this to be fixed. - You can’t leave anything on your desk or in your drawers without them being taken. If you were out of the office, you would come back to no mouse, headset or chair. Your stationary would always be stolen and never returned. - Higher management only seemed to care about the money they were making and not once thought about their staff. They were completely oblivious to how the admin and case management team were treated as long as the business was still coming in. - There are no benefits for the hard work you put in, you could work non-stop and not even get a thank you for putting the effort in. - You were chucked in at the deep end with no training and with people who has little experience you were expected to do as good of a job as the people who had been there for years. - ‘Quality Emails’ were sent around the office if you made the smallest of mistakes. The mistake was pointed out on the email, with your name and sent around the whole office including all management which made you feel ashamed and embarrassed. - You can obviously see the reviews on Glassdoor are all fake, as they are all from current employees and have been done within the same week. Clearly they have been asked to write these reviews by management.
