Pros

They are an authorized dealer for ADT even though they have the same deceptive practices as ADT Defenders that was bought earlier this year. Apply to work at ADT corporate. Do not waist your time with the deceptive practices of an authorized dealer like Safe Haven Security.

Cons

W2 means you cannot write off gas, mileage, appreciation or insurance on vehicle You will travel over 500 to 600 miles per week; totaling 2000 miles per month minimum in order to make a decent check. The script used to get you into the customer's house is a lie after lie. Very deceptive and dishonest to the employee and the customer After you sell customer a free package, installers come behind you and pressure the customers to buy or finance equipment which you do not get credit or compensated Charge backs are real even though they say is not Door knocking (unannounced) from 12PM to 8:30 PM If you don't sell anything you do not get reimbursed for expenses incurred Promises of management opportunities are dangled as a carrot in order to keep you motivated Management shows favoritism and does not deliver on promises No gas, phone or insurance allowance reimbursement. A lot of wear and tear on your vehicle. If you have an accident there is no insurance in place to protect you or your vehicle.

Pros

Good company culture, pretty good pay if you are good at knocking on doors. Pretty good benefits. Health, Vision, Dental, 401k.

Cons

The worst thing is the hours. You have to be knocking on doors from 2:30 till 8:30 p.m. no appointments, no real plan. They just give you a list of addresses and you go see who you can find at home. Not super crazy about the training and how they teach you to greet the homeowners at the door. I don't like to "mislead" by saying things that aren't completely true. They tell you the average rep sells 12 deals a month but the numbers don't show that. Turnover is crazy! People are in and out of this company very quickly. Only a few survive and stick around just long enough to find something else so they can spend some time with their family.
