Pros

Money was nice. Freedom to work from anywhere once I became a manager.

Cons

This entire industry is scamming people. The door sensors are free but you have to pay for anything that will actually protect you and they don’t tell you that at the door. Working here for 3 years getting close with upper management this is not an ethical place. None of the managers were able to empathize or explain to my technicians why they are getting pay cuts. On several of the management trips the upper management took us to strip clubs throwing company money around. Alcohol was of course free. Wild parties. Fun but is that who you want protecting you? Is it a big hearted company? No.

Pros

Good company culture, pretty good pay if you are good at knocking on doors. Pretty good benefits. Health, Vision, Dental, 401k.

Cons

The worst thing is the hours. You have to be knocking on doors from 2:30 till 8:30 p.m. no appointments, no real plan. They just give you a list of addresses and you go see who you can find at home. Not super crazy about the training and how they teach you to greet the homeowners at the door. I don't like to "mislead" by saying things that aren't completely true. They tell you the average rep sells 12 deals a month but the numbers don't show that. Turnover is crazy! People are in and out of this company very quickly. Only a few survive and stick around just long enough to find something else so they can spend some time with their family.
