Pros

I worked on a great team that was passionate about their jobs and worked really hard to make Sabre the "best team in travel". The work/life balance was a plus and the extracurricular groups were a huge benefit for employees. The company focuses on many key initiatives, one being corporate responsibility. I felt proud to be part of a company that cared so much about their employees and their community.

Cons

The company is going through a lot of changes right now and in result, many positions are being eliminated. The atmosphere at Sabre does not seem stable and lots of valuable, irreplaceable talent has been laid off. We worked with outdated technology, which does not make sense for a technology company. It's really difficult to climb the ladder and raises are minimal. Unfortunately with new leadership in place and all of the changes occuring, I think things will get worse before they get better at Sabre. I no longer feel that the company has the best interest of their employees in mind.

Friendly coworkers and managers Good PTO Hybrid work schedule

Cons

Frequent layoffs Unreasonable work expectations No upward movement Low pay vs market Some departments don’t abide by hybrid expectations, so your team may be there 9-5 three days per week while another team shows up once or twice a week for only a few hours. Overly focused on AI while the stock still underperforms.
