Pros

-Passionate CEO and team that loves what they do -Growing company that has recently landed major enterprise deals -Onsite fitness facility, great benefits, and all of the snacks that you can eat -Team outings and Friday drinks with the team (. . . lots of good times and opportunities to connect with senior leadership) -Join a team at the cutting edge of the SaaS industry The company's leadership and growth in the cloud marketplace (or enterprise app store) space speaks for itself. SaaS Markets recently landed several major enterprise deals, and their increasing profitability is heartening for not only this employee, but the rest of the team, too. Disregard any negative posts from former (disgruntled) employees that were likely terminated for good reason. The growing team at SaaS Markets is composed of a great group of hard-working, affable personalities that are propelling SaaS Markets to the next level. Get in on the ground floor of a fantastic opportunity, and if your skill set is a good fit, don't hesitate to apply for a position at this awesome company.

Cons

-SaaS Markets is not just a job, it's a great career opportunity (those who are looking for 'just another job' may not be up for the challenge) -As a rapidly evolving/growing company, change is frequent . . . and most often for the best (those who are intimidated by change or can't handle it may be uncomfortable)

Pros

+ The idea of the store as well as the concept and product overall is good. + Typical startup perks: Free food, drinks, parties. + 10 days PTO + floating holidays. + Colleagues and managers for the most part were very nice. + Nice office. Top-notch hardware and software. + Pay is typical for a startup, but less than most companies.

Cons

- Company focus and ideas are in the wrong direction. Lots of time was wasted chasing after the pie in the sky ideas, and after the wrong type of clients and consumers. - Focusing on and fixing the obvious was ignored in favor of irrelevant and pointless projects while longstanding issues and problems were constantly ignored and left to fester. - Despite giving appearances of such, management did not listen to suggestions. - More of a stilted corporate environment than that of a startup. - Despite giving appearances of such, its very much a top down/trickle down management. - Zero and disallowed communication between the US and European offices beyond the CEO. Leads back to previous post on top-down management. - Very high employee turnover. Hardly anyone from the original team from one year ago is there. You will see lots of people quit during your time there. -No clear promotion or raise track for employees in some divisions and departments.
