Pros

It was great initially. I enjoyed the problem solving aspect of it but the responsibilities this place lays on your is so disproportionate to not only your pay, but also the several managers that place all that heavy load on us. Customer service team is a small team and we have limits. There we're bonuses and yearly raises that are nice i guess.

Cons

How everything is managed. Management is hardly supportive. You will constantly be told you're not meeting your monthly goals despite your best effort. Any requests you have to diffuse customer situations will be treated will no urgency. But management expects everything they tell you to do, to be done timely and perfectly. Customers are a mix and it can be taxing to go over their issues. Managent refuses to understand this and then wonder why we're miserable. Voicing your opinion will be ignored. There will be no change. You'll have to have thick skin and get used to handling every process on your own. Even one mistake is criticized. You may think this review is dramatic and even biased, but every single agent has the same sentiment. Many quit for the above reasons. I've walked to my car feeling like huge boulder was on my shoulder after the day. Only work here if you're willing to "wear many hats" and have thick skin. You'll probably quit or be fired within 2 years.

Pros

SWISCO was a great place to work. I was given lots of room to innovate and implement new concepts quickly. The owners are committed to the success of the business without being overbearing and micromanaging. It is a great team atmosphere with lots of cross-functional interactions to make sure the company operates efficiently, orders are delivered on-time, and customers are happy. The health/retirement benefits were generous and some of the other fringe benefits like local roast coffee and fresh fruit / snacks in the lounge were always nice. The facility and equipment is new and well maintained. Overall, the work environment is positive and productive. It’s a fast-growing, family-owned company where potential and hard work are recognized.

Cons

Temps in summer can make for warm temps for warehouse workers, but I think that is typical. There is plenty of fresh air, fans, ice, and cold water to help combat the warm weather.
