Pros
Howard is a rare thing this day and age; he's a benevolent capitalist. I've worked at STL for almost 4 years, and I can honestly say the culture he created, nurtures and protects is unlike that of any organisation I've worked with. We behave like friends and family to one another, genuinely caring when one of us is in difficulty - that might be serious illness, a head cold, or needing time to care for a loved one, for any reason. We celebrate each other's achievements, and enjoy a laugh at our own - and colleagues' - expense. Most importantly, we are all invited to share in the benefits when things are going well, and pull together when they're not. There's no magic number to hit before "heads start rolling"; when times are difficult, we all go the extra mile because we know it matters. It matters to Howard, his senior team, and it matters to the rest of us who are lucky enough to work here. If you get the chance, I can't recommend highly enough working with Howard and STL.
Cons
I'm sure if I think long enough, something might come to mind :-)
